According to UNICEF, at least 21,289 children in Gaza were reported killed since October 2023, alongside more than 44,500 children reported injured — figures from Gaza's Ministry of Health, cited by UNICEF.
Every one of these was a name. A child who liked a certain song, or was scared of the dark, or wanted to grow up to be something.

Journalists on the ground have described Gaza as still being reshaped and cut off in pieces, month after month, ceasefire or not.
